Welcome to the harbours of the MVO
The Marina Verbund Ostsee e.V. (short MVO) was founded in 2003 by six harbours along the coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. By now nine harbours between the Lübecker Bay and the river Oder have become members of the MVO.
The original aim of the MVO was and still is the establishment of a strong association of interests and a maritime lobby against politics and certain authorities. This regards e.g. the increasing demands of the authorities towards skippers, the integration of Poland and the Baltic countries to the existing waterway network or the catastrophal situation of the emergeny harbour Darßer Ort.
The association itself as a strong maritime focused pool of interests did already receive a lot of attention and has been accepted gratefully by countless skippers.
